Proposed Initiative Could Revoke 2015 Law that Allows Undocumented Immigrants to Obtain a State Driver’s License

SACRAMENTO — Those opposed to some of California’s immigration policies may get their chance to make a difference at the ballot.

Victim`s Rights Advocates who oppose the state’s immigration policies have been cleared to gather signatures for a 2020 ballot initiative.

The proposal would repeal California`s Sanctuary State Law which prevents local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities on certain cases.
